DAY 1, Monday - Depart for Ireland

DAY 2, Tuesday - Arrive in Dublin
Welcome to Dublin, one of the friendliest cities in Europe. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Most flights arrive in the early morning and your room may not be ready for you. In this case, leave your luggage with the concierge and your Tour Manager will provide suggestions for you to begin to explore the city on your own. Tonight, attend an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM, followed by dinner

DAY 3, Wednesday - Waterford, Russborough House, Birds of Prey Center, Irish National Stud
Travel this morning to Russborough House, a grand mansion built 275 years ago. On a tour of the home, view the unique ceilings and a superb collection of world-class art and furnishings. Enjoy tea and fresh-baked scones in the Tea Room before continuing to the Bird of Prey Center*, home to over 40 birds including golden eagles, hawks, owls, and falcons. Then, on to the Irish National Stud Farm*. Walk around the grounds to view stallions, graceful mares, playful foals and learn about the dedicated breeding for royalty. After, travel to Waterford

DAY 4, Thursday - Waterford, Jameson Distillery
Morning walking tour of the city of Waterford, a place that can trace its beginnings all the way back to the arrival of the Vikings. Stand on the edge of the river looking over Merchants Quay and Waterford's low-rise skyline with its views of the city's brightly colored 19th century buildings, church spires, and towers. Then, travel west along the coast to the city of Cobh, where emigration from Ireland began during the 19th century famine. On the return to Waterford, stop at Jameson distillery for a tour and tasting. Tonight, dinner is in a local pub

DAY 5, Friday - Rock of Cashel, Home Hosted Lunch, Adare, Foynes, Medieval Banquet
Visit the Rock of Cashel, a collection of medieval church buildings and fortresses set on top of a limestone outcrop rising out of County Tipperary's Golden Vale. Many of the old church buildings still survive and a gentle trek to the top of the Rock offers panoramic views. Next, on to Molanna Farm, where lunch has been arranged just for you with a local family at their home. Visit the Foynes Flying Boat Museum, commemorating Ireland's first international airport during the pioneering days of transatlantic aviation in the 1930s. In this old terminal building, Irish coffee was created to warm the cold and wet passengers. Arrive in the village of Adare for overnight. The remainder of the day is at leisure. This evening, attend a fun-filled authentic medieval banquet dinner in a 15th century Irish castle, accompanied by live music

DAY 6, Saturday - Flying Boat & Maritime Museum, Dingle Peninsula
Embark on a scenic drive to the Dingle Peninsula, a jewel of Ireland's southwest coast and the backdrop to several films. As you wind along the coastal road, you'll be treated to sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and rugged cliffs carved by centuries of wind and waves. Tonight, dinner is at the hotel

DAY 7, Sunday - Cliffs of Moher, Galway
Today, travel to the Cliffs of Moher, a rock wall which towers 700 feet over the surf of the ocean along the Atlantic coast of County Clare. Stop at the Visitor Center with a 19th century viewing tower and pathways. Continue to the nearby Roadside Tavern where the owners will share their craft beer knowledge over a light lunch. Next, step next door to the Burren Smokehouse, renowned for its sustainably sourced, artisan-smoked salmon. Continue to Westport via Galway, with a short stop at the Cathedral if time allows. Tonight, dinner is at the hotel

DAY 8, Monday - County Mayo, Yeats Poetry Luncheon
Travel through stunning scenery along the Wild Atlantic Way to the town of Sligo, home to the young William Butler Yeats. Here, attend a Yeats poetry luncheon at Hargadon's Pub. In the afternoon, return to Westport and spend time at leisure

DAY 9, Tuesday - Cruise the River Shannon, Discover Dublin
Depart Westport on the way to Carrick-on-Shannon, the capital of Leitrim. Here, enjoy a relaxing cruise down the River Shannon, complete with freshly brewed tea and homemade Irish scones. Afterward, drive to historic Dublin. Your exploration of Dublin, begins with a visit to Phoenix Park, home to the official residence of the President and Dublin Zoo. Continue to view St. Patrick's Cathedral and travel on O'Connell Street, the city's main thoroughfare. Spend the evening at leisure

DAY 10, Wednesday - Explore Dublin
Start the day at the EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum. This interactive experience will take you on a journey to discover the stories of Irish emigration, from early times to the modern day. Later, visit the Guinness Storehouse for a sampling of the brew. You can pull your own pint here in the Dublin tradition and browse the multimedia exhibits about Guinness, the city's best-known export. Finish the day with dinner and say goodbye to your Tour Manager
