DAY 2, Sunday - Arrive in Dublin
Arrive in Dublin, the energetic capital of Ireland. Most flights arrive in the early morning and your room may not be ready for you. In this case, leave your luggage with the concierge and your Tour Manager will provide suggestions for you to begin to explore the city on your own. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 5 PM

DAY 3, Monday - Kilkenny, Travel to Cork
Depart Dublin and travel south to the beautiful County Wicklow. Here, visit Glendalough, one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland, founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century. Afterward, head to Kilkenny, a small city located on the banks of the River Nore. Free time to explore the city and for lunch on your own. Perhaps, join the optional Smithwick's Experience. Embark on an interactive journey through over 300 years of history and learn how Ireland's most popular ale is made. Conclude the tour with tastings. Afterward, continue the drive to Cork. Arrive and check into your hotel with time at leisure

DAY 4, Tuesday - Cobh, Blarney Castle en route to Killarney
Today, visit the city of Cobh, where emigration from Ireland began during the 19th century famine. This port was also the last stop for the infamous Titanic before its fateful maiden voyage ended tragically. Then, travel west towards Killarney. En route, stop to visit the 15th century Blarney Castle, where you'll have an opportunity to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone, promising you the "gift of gab." Free time for shopping for traditional Irish crafts at the Blarney Woollen Mills before driving to Killarney, in County Kerry, with its rugged coastline along the Atlantic Ocean. This evening perhaps, join the optional Whiskey Tasting & Dinner. Get an insight into whiskey making and taste two Irish whiskeys, followed by a three course Irish dinner

DAY 5, Wednesday - Killarney National Park, Ring of Kerry
Begin the day with a drive through Killarney National Park and the world-famous "Ring of Kerry" around the island's southwestern tip. View sparkling seascapes, mountains dotted with brightly colored farmhouses, the remote villages of Cahirciveen and Sneem, winding lanes bordered with subtropical vegetation, and the panorama of the Lakes of Killarney. Later, join the optional ride in a Jaunting Car (pony & open carriage) in the peaceful green countryside. Return to Killarney in late afternoon

DAY 6, Thursday - Irish National Stud, Travel to Dublin
Morning visit to the Irish National Stud Farm, renowned for its world-class thoroughbred breeding and training facilities. Walk around the grounds* to view stallions, graceful mares, playful foals and learn about the dedicated breeding for royalty. Then, sit back and enjoy the scenery on the drive back to historic Dublin
*For Oct-Jan departures, the guided tour will be shorter, and it will include the Irish racehorse experience.

DAY 7, Friday - Full Day in Dublin
Spend the day at leisure or, join the optional Dublin City Tour with Guinness Storehouse. Begin with a panoramic drive through statue-lined O'Connell Street and past Phoenix Park, home to the official residence of the President. Continue to view Trinity College, St. Stephen's Green and St. Patrick's Cathedral, dedicated to Ireland's patron saint. Afterward, visit Guinness Storehouse for a sampling of the brew. You can pull your own pint here in the Dublin tradition and browse the multimedia exhibits about Guinness. Tonight at dinner, bid farewell to your Tour Manager and Ireland
