DAY 2, Friday - Arrive in Dublin
Arrive in Dublin, the capital of Ireland. Balance of the day is at leisure to relax, or explore this friendly city on your own. Most flights arrive in the early morning and your room may not be ready for you. In this case, leave your luggage with the concierge and your Tour Manager will provide suggestions for you to begin to explore the city on your own. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 5 PM

DAY 3, Saturday - Sheepdog Demonstration, Travel to Galway
Today, depart Dublin and travel westward into the countryside to Rathbaun Farm*, a working sheep farm to watch a sheep herding demonstration. Later, arrive in Galway, the home of the famous Claddagh ring, and check into your hotel. Balance of the day is a leisure

DAY 4, Sunday - Donegal Castle en route to Derry
Depart Galway and drive through the rugged verdant green countryside to Derry with its rich history and compelling glimpses of Northern Ireland's past and present. On to County Donegal, a land of unspoiled splendor. In the center of town, visit Donegal Castle, built in the 15th century by the powerful O'Donnell clan, located along the banks of the River Eske. Learn about the O'Donnells' role in Irish history and their eventual surrender to the English, who later renovated the castle in a Jacobean style. Next, continue to Derry for overnight

DAY 5, Monday - Derry Walking Tour, Giant's Causeway
Begin the day with a morning walking tour of the artistic cultural hub of Derry. View St. Columb's Cathedral, the neo-Gothic Guildhall, and the well-preserved medieval city walls with its four original gates that completely encircle the old city center, protecting Derry throughout centuries from foreign invaders. Afterward, drive along winding roads to the spectacular Giant's Causeway. It's the only UNESCO World Heritage site in Northern Ireland, where unusual hexagonal columns formed by 60 million years of volcanic activity stretch into the sea. Continue to Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland, with its beautifully restored Victorian architecture and European-style cafes. Arrive at the hotel in time for dinner

DAY 6, Tuesday - Explore Belfast, Titanic Museum
Today's exploration of Belfast starts at the towering dome of the Edwardian City Hall, followed by the university district. Stop in a neighborhood in West Belfast, where buildings are still scarred from "The Troubles" which ended with the 1998 Good Friday Agreement. Visit the gleaming Titanic Belfast Museum constructed in the actual dockyard where the doomed ship was built. Its multimedia presentation follows the history of Belfast and the creation of the world's most famous ocean liner. Exhibits include a high-tech ride through a recreation of the city's shipyards. View details of the Titanic's construction, replicas of the passenger accommodations and old film footage of the actual ship. The rest of the day is yours to discover Belfast on your own or join the optional Hillsborough Castle with Afternoon Tea. Tour this splendid castle built in the 1770s. Visit the elegant State Rooms, Drawing Room, Lady Grey's Study, and the regal Throne Room. Afterward, enjoy a traditional afternoon tea

DAY 7, Wednesday - Dublin City Tour
This morning, head back to Dublin. The exploration of Dublin begins with a panoramic drive through statue-lined O'Connell Street and past Phoenix Park, the largest enclosed city park in Europe, home to the official residence of the President. Continue to view Trinity College, home to the Book of Kells and St. Stephen's Green, a Victorian public park. Visit St. Patrick's Cathedral, the largest church in Ireland, dedicated to Ireland's patron saint. The rest of the day is at leisure. Tonight, at dinner, bid farewell to your Tour manager
